The temps are still sizzling in L.A., so we can all get use out of our swimsuits! Even if the weather suddenly take a turn, remember summer bodies are made during cooler months 😉 Now you can get yours with the help of performance coach, Jennifer Cohen.
Celebrity trainer and super fit mommy, Jennifer Cohen, has a new book which is sure to become her third best-seller (following No Gym Required and Strong is the New Skinny) The title alone will make you want to grab a copy- “Badass Body Goals: The Booty Building and Waist Trimming Journal.” The book is a no-nonsense workout guide with any and everything you need!
The best part? You don’t have to go out and spend excessive amounts of money on extra equipment. Cohen gives you all the tools in one complete package. The book explains the different types of booty shapes, how her coveted system works, and gives you over FIFTY sets of workouts with pictorials to follow along. It also includes a personal journal to track and guide your progress! Did I mention it comes with a fitness resistance band to optimize your results? All of these items could be broken up and sold separately, but Jennifer wants everyone to achieve the fitness goals they so desire with her proven methods she has worked so hard to streamline to fit into anyone’s schedule.
If you’re not already familiar, Cohen is best known for being the face of Nike for over 12 years and the first ‘fitness celebrity’ spokesperson for Weight Watchers helping develop their fitness pillar and workout plans. Fun Fact: Weight Watchers even acquired her fitness app “Top Five.” She has also represented brands including Muscle Milk, KIND Bars, Victoria’s Secret Sports, and Polar Heart Monitors, to name a few. She actually get her start in fitness by leveraging her marketing career in music and becoming a “label trainer” for all Universal Music Group and Def Jam Records artists. You had me at J.Lo… I mean who doesn’t want that body!
Luckily, I had the privilege to attend the Badass Body Goals book launch party at Equinox Sports Club Los Angeles. Cohen gave the crowd a taste of what’s to come with a hands on workout. Talk about feeling the burn! Her circuit training got everyone moving and sweating. She made me a believer in just the first five minutes!
After our sweat session, the crowd was treating to delicious bites and healthy cocktails (a little Rose never hurt anybody) while DJ Miss Ninja mixed tunes to keep the party going. The event sponsors included Truwomen, Frill, Golden Glow, and OWYN. Mobot provided their water bottle rollers for the workout routine and auctioned off two prize bottles to the best IG picture that used the hashtag #BadassBody Goals. All attendees got a very special surprise, their very own autographed copy of this badass book!
In addition to being a fitness queen, Cohen is a columnist for Forbes, Entrepreneur, Elle, Men’s Health, Mind Body Green and more. She has naturally become a sought-after business consultant. She sits on the boards of many companies and venture funds and is currently most active as a consultant and wellness coach with Drip Hydration. She’s also the founder of The Good Human Foundation, a 501c3 charity, which hosts an annual star-studded “Babes For Boobs” bachelor auction, benefiting the Susan G. Komen Foundation in the fight against breast cancer. With Cancer Awareness Month just around the corner in October, we can’t think of a better time to put health first.
