Page to Screen: Black Panther

It is always awe-inspiring to see the pages of our favorite fictional worlds come to life.

Disney and Marvel Studio’s have released this incredible behind the scenes look at bringing the iconic world of ‘Black Panther’ to the big screen. With the film ready to release this upcoming February 16th, we are counting down the moments until we venture into Wakanda.

The film boasts an impressive line up of A-List talent. ‘Black Panther’ stars Chadwick Boseman who made his big screen debut in ‘Civl War’ as T’Challa. ‘Black Panther’ is set to pick up after the events that left our heroes Iron Man and Captain America at odds against one another. Starring alongside Chadwick is: Lupita Nyong’o who keeps dazzling us with every film she chooses, as she disappears into her characters. While, Michael B. Jordan of ‘Creed’ fame is set to make his villainous appearance, as power battles ensue. Danai Gurira joins the ‘Black Panther’ cast alongside, Martin Freeman ‘The Hobbit’, Andy Serkis (every CGI/MoCap character EVER, seriously he’s incredible), Angela Bassett, Forest Whittaker, Daniel Kaluuya, and Sterling K. Brown. What a cast of heavy hitters set to grace the action franchise. We literally can’t believe such a dynamic cast will be in one film.

This page to screen journey began when the comic character Black Panther  first hit shelves in 1966. T’Challa didn’t even start out with his own comic series. His was an appearance in the world of ‘Fantastic Four’ issue #52 in whats considered the ‘Silver Age’ of Marvel Comics.

Let us know what you think of this latest look, into bringing the world of Wakanda to life.
