gbk emmyAwards season means giving out accolades to the best of the best. When you talk about contenders for gifting events, everybody knows that the GBK Luxury Emmys Lounge is at the top of the list for the A-list! PPLA was lucky enough to get a tour of the lounge and meet the vendors in this premiere destination.

With over ten different rooms and hundreds of products, we will have to name only our favorite stops here!

Fashion & Accesories

The Artisan Group– provides a collective sampling of hand-crafted products including jewelry, spa and bath products, stationary, knitted apparel, ceramics, toys, and other crafts. We loved our bracelets from Princess Pea, notepad & key chain from Warm Heart Bears, wrap bracelet from Susan Harbourt Designs, notecards from Beez Kneez, Aragonite ‘Power’ bracelet from Catherine Jewelry Design, iPad hand crafted knit case from Buggy D Creations, and the Chainmaille Pendant/Necklace (Nessie) by Saniki Creations.

Jorg Gray Time Pieces (the watch Obama wears) were a great gift for the men to receive. Even better, they are based locally right in Pasadena.

Wolfhardt – another great local brand that makes travel bags, belts, wallets, and accessories using imported Italian leather

Hot Rock Jewelry– handmande jewelry with precious gemstones. They gifted us their special Emmys pendant  with the inspiration message on the back “Your life has meaning”. The pendant also helps raise money for charity so think of them when buying a holiday gift for your friends and family!

Ron Donovan– luxury shoes for men and women. We loved the combination of suede and leather on the women’s boots for fall! “Classic with a modernistic edge”

Savee Couture– we loved their chic and sexy cocktail and evening dresses. Perfect for a night on the town or the red carpet.

Foster Grant– the original sunglasses manufacturer, gifted us a fabulous pair of cat-eye sunglasses! Meow!

Beauty & Skin Care

Secret Agent– we loved their lip gloss and plumper. You get a tingly feel and minty flavor that equals luscious lips!

SKNSPIN– a tool (a dermal roller- think a razor with a roller instead of a blade) that rejuvenates and exfoliates skin while improving the effectiveness of your skin care products.

Revitalash– we fell in love with their volumizing mascara & primer, highlighting pencil, and Raven 12-hr eyeliner. Not only do these products make for a pretty picture, they see the big picture and donate a portion of their proceeds to breast cancer research and education initiatives.

Derma Stem & Stem Enhance SE2– imagine using stem cell technology for a younger, more vibrant looking you! Well now it’s here through their Derma Stem Renewal Serum and SE2 dietary supplement.

Tiny Tots & Man’s Best Friend

Bean Patch & Co.– organic handmade plush toys (monkeys) “Frederik” and “Frida” from Denmark and the beautiful Baghera pedal cars from France were our favorites!

Franck & Fischer– designed for kids and made with care! From clothes and toys to puzzles and backpacks, all products are made from organic cotton and rubber or tea wood (non toxic glue/environmentally friendly paint). We loved our complimentary hand-sewn owl key chain!

Toy State– motorized toy cars complete with realistic vehicle sounds, working lights, and special James Bond-themed 007 music on their newest 007 edition. Your tot will feel like a secret agent in no time!

Nulo– their motto is “nutrition meets love” and they aim to offer “optimal pet fuel for the athlete in every dog”. They gave me a great bag of kibble called Longevity for my 9-year old terrier to keep her going strong for our hikes up Runyon Canyon.

One World Foundation–  to support the chidlren of Baan Unrak Community (in Thailand) through the Baan Unrak Conscious Collection, we loved the comfortable lounge pants!

Best Friends Animal Society– the place to consider when rescuing a dog or cat! More than 150 new best friends in all breeds and sizes. Check out their adoption and spay & neuter centers.

Somaly Mam Foundation– this organization is dedicated to the eradication of sex slavery and the empowerment of its survivors.

NKLA– dedicated to making Los Angeles a No-Kill city for animals in L.A. shelters.

Dream Center– this non-profit provides food, shelter, clothing, education, healthcare, career development, and job placement to those in need in the community.

Health & Fitness

Mansion Fitness for an upscale workout experience…this isn’t your typical ‘meat-head’ gym! Sophisticated, luxurious, and one on one training. You may actually want to work out!

Joe Nunziata – best-selling author, life & business coach. He gave me some great meditation tips and three helpful books! Perfect for the stresses of awards season.

Freedom Laser Therapy– the quit smoking system to help break your nicotine addiction. Recommending this to all my smokers, New Year’s is just around the corner so why not start now!

Food, Spirits, & Ambience

Bread Basket Cake– made the delicious Emmy-themed decadent chocolate cake balls and the GBK Emmy cake we were treated to upon entering the lounge!

The Mason Jar Cookie Company– its custom artisanal cookie mixes in adorable mason jars. You just add dairy ingredients and bake and the best part is all jars are hand packed by army vets and the disabled.

Bavaro’s Italian Specialties– there is nothing like an amazing marinara, arrabbiata, or pomodoro sauce. Made with imported ingredients from Italy…bring the taste of family to your home. Almost as good as my mother’s (she made me put that!)

Yazi– premium ginger flavored vodka that spices up your same old cocktails. We loved the Ginger Lemondrop.

Eye Saw You– feeling social? Check out this App to find friends, network, or be hit by cupid’s arrow.

DJ Rich Pop Art- hand-made pop art that included a bejeweled GBK Gifting Lounge sign and a Youtube logo (#SocialMedia)

Next time we go to a gifting lounge we will ride in style with our complimentary car or limo service from Integrated Transportation Services!
