HOUSE OF LUXURY AT SUNDANCE

In the midst of the Sundance Film Festival, the ever-popular Rand Luxury along with Resorts West of Park City, Utah orchestrated a high society event in the picturesque, snow-covered mountains of Deer Valley.

High profile guests included Running From Crazy’s actress Mariel Hemingway and famous documentary director, Barbara Kopple. The residence that featured the House of Luxury event was part of the Resorts West Real Estate Group and was reported to be worth an astonishing $21.9 million dollars. Jeff Spencer, Principal Broker of Resorts West said, “House of Luxury is the finest Deer Valley masterpiece with ideal ski access and breathtaking views.”

Lucrative sponsors included Rolls Royce, which offered potential clients test-drives in Ghost Rolls Royce automobiles. While New York based art manager, Amanda Brown of Amanda Brown Artist Management showcased beautiful contemporary works inspired by Mona Lisa. Hasselblad Cameras of Sweden showcased cameras with gold and mahogany options. After speaking with Hasselblad cameras’ CEO, Michael Hajtmanek, I learned that the Hasselblad cameras played an integral part in capturing images during space exploration in the 60’s.

After being captivated by the“ Lunar” Hasselblad camera, I made my way over to the wine cellar in the estate to inquire about the wines being featured at the event with Shailah Salmon, Marketing Manager from La Jota Vineyard Co. at Howell Mountain Estate. At the event, Ve`rite` presented three wines including La Muse-Inspiration, La Joie-Joy, and Le Desi`r-Desire. Shilah Salmon stated “All three wines have received 100 points from world renowned wine critic, Robert Parker and run on average $450 per bottle.”

Although expanding your knowledge of wine is always important, I was also able to meet up with Chelsea Corrigan and Charlie Heber of Porsche Design. At Sundance, Porsche Design’s first handbag premiered known as the “Twin Bag”. This bag features adjustable handles and will hit stores this March.

Up next was a visit to about Magellan Jets  owners and partners, Anthony Tivnan and Joshua Hebert. I learned more about the Massachusetts’s based private flight service and how it has been featured in Forbes, MSNBC, Travel Weekly, and even the Robb Report. Magellan Jets has many destinations to take you including New York, LA, Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Las Vegas, Chicago, Boston, Dallas, San Francisco, Houston, Orlando, Washington, D.C., Detroit, Philadelphia, Phoenix, and Park City. Magellan even offers one-way flights.

Ok, let’s go ahead and book for next year SUNDANCE 2014! Who’s with me? See you next year at Rand Luxury’s events!
