JK Rowling has announced more Harry Potter. We’ll give you a moment to start breathing again. Yes thats right Pottermore CEO Susan Jurevis revealed that three short stories selling for approximately $3.00 each will become available to the public starting September 6th.
These short stories are meant to be a deeper look into the darker side of the Wizarding world. The upcoming series of short stories are known as the series “Pottermore Presents” and are meant to supplement the already existing novels, with each story detailing supporting characters. “Power, Politics, and Pesky Poltergeists” takes a look at the ruthless Dolores Umbride. While “Heroism, Hardship. and Dangerous Hobbies” will follow fan favorite Professor Minerva McGonagall and Remus Lupin . Hmm…wonder what those two will be up to? Finally “Hogwarts: An Incomplete and Unreliable Guide” Will give readers a look at what transpires behind the scenes at Hogwarts: School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Each book will be about 10,000 words long and will be available for purchase on Pottermore as well as other online retailers.
Harry Potter fans have been in a frenzy of new information for the past two years. We’re excited to see where the stories will continue to take us. JK Rowling most recently published her commencement speech from Harvard titled: ‘Very Good Lives’. “The Cursed Child” which is the 8th story set 19 years later is sweeping the internet as a playbook, the proper play itself stunning the West End in London, and ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’ due out this holiday season with a sequel already greenlit; Harry Potter fans can rest assured that their beloved Wizarding World has no plans to cease amazing their imaginations.
