METAMORPHOSIS: SPEND THE AFTERNOON AT HUNTINGTON LIBRARY

Looking for a great way to spend your Saturday afternoon? Head over to Huntington Library! This weekend, the library is hosting a TEDX event and an art installation that is open to the public.

If you’re not familiar with Huntington Library this isn’t your typical venue for checking out your favorite books!  While you can of course get your reading on given they have a world class collection of rare books but the space is also home to art collections, botanical gardens, manuscripts, photographs, maps, paintings, prints, sculpture, decorative arts and more.

This weekend, TEDX is hosting a slew of impressive speakers through their ticketed event.  In addition, there is a free live musical experience and art installation called Metamorphosis that is open to the public (no tickets required) from 2-3PM featuring moss artist, Kelley Anderson of Art Botanica; Murray Hidary, classic and contemporary pianist and composer; and Ryan Weiss, Kundalini Yoga and meditation expert.
