RIHANNA BECOMES FIRST ARTIST TO CROSS RIAA’S100 MILLION SONGS

The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) announced that Rihanna has surpassed more than 100 million gold and platinum song certifications. This has moved the 27-year-old R&B star to the top, and No. 1 on RIAA’s list of artists with the most digital single awards.

This is very historic for Rihanna because she is the first artist to ever pass RIAA’s one hundred million mark!

Some of the songs that have helped Rihanna achieve this honor included a 9X platinum award for “We Found Love”, 6X multi-platinum’s for “Stay”, “What’s My Name” and “Only Girl (In The World)”, a 2X multi-platinum for new hits “FourFiveSeconds” and “BBHMM”.

RiRi took to social media to thank her fans for all of there support. “Today is a day I’ll never forget!!! Thank you #RihannaNavy for allowing me to make history with you!” she wrote.
