Hollywood & Highland Gets a Sweet Tooth with the Grand Opening of the New Sugar Factory Store! Thousands came out to Hollywood & Highland to celebrate the opening of the new Sugar Factory store, the company’s seventh, which sits on two levels and is located next to the TLC Chinese Theater on Hollywood Blvd.On hand to help launch the new store were actor and host of  Extra, Mario Lopez; actress and model Kylie Jenner; and singer and former Spice Girl Mel B. Rounding out the celebrity guests were Kylie’s sister Kendall, and actors Jai Brooks, Dylan Sprayberry, and Lopez’s old costar and longtime friend, Dennis Haskins.

From 7:30 to 11, the doors were open for Sugar Factory fans to fill the company’s special duck bags with Gummi Bears, M & M’s, Nerds, non-pareils, and other assorted, delicious candies that drive dentists crazy. But because you can’t have sweets until you finish your dinner, guests and celebs munched on all-beef sliders, fried mac & cheese bites, chicken taquitos, and of course, an open bar which was featuring Korbel champagne.

Inside, a DJ was spinning tracks to sugar-addled guests who mingled among the pinwheel-striped umbrellas, red and yellow cushioned walls and tables, and glittery, ornament balls that hung from the ceiling.

The night was a huge success, and if the number of happy fans is any indication, the Sugar Factory will be a must-visit location for candy aficionados!
