The 2013 Emmy Awards proved to be a night of unexpected surprises, dance numbers and acceptance speeches that we will never forget. TV’s hottest celebrities walked the red carpet with the latest fashions talking about their nominations and the upcoming night.
Neil Patrick Harris hosted the 65th annual Emmy Awards with some surprise hosts from the past giving him some support and pointers to finish the show successfully. He cracked jokes and made the show run smoothly with dance numbers featuring Dancing with the Stars pro Derek Hough.
Comedy did not take a back seat at the show as Amy Poelher and Tina Fey presented the first award with a little skit with 3-D glasses and popcorn. Will Ferrell Came out with his three sons at the end of the show presenting best comedy and best drama. Winners Modern Family and Breaking Bad took the stage to express their gratitude for their win.
Merritt Wever gave the most interesting speech “Thank you, Thank you so much….Ok, I gotta go.” Short, short and too the point. I wonder what her family, agents, and everyone who helped her get to this point thought?
And, Of course, what are Emmys without after parties, some fine wine, fancy food, and of course “twerking?”
What do you think about the show? The Winners? The fashion?
