with these fun activities to celebrate Lady Liberty. We’ve got all of your 4th of July needs
covered to ensure you and yours embrace the land of the free in the best way possible!
FIREWORKS
What’s a Fourth of July without Fireworks? We’re dishing the deets on the best spots to capture
the sparkliest shows in the sky.
AmericaFest at The Rose Bowl in Pasadena will have you singing the Star Spangled Banner
after experiencing everything they have to offer. For just $20 you can experience carnival-esque
activities and American fare starting at 2pm on Independence Day. The light show begins at
9pm, and trust us…this is a show you don’t want to miss!
The Firework show at The Hollywood Bowl will have you seeing all things red, white, and blue!
Did we mention you’ll also get to enjoy a show from the rockstar all girl group the Go-Go’s?
These ladies are sure to set the stage on fire with this killer show starting at 7:30pm. If you can’t
make it to the show ON Independence day…fear not, the Go-Go’s will be singing their hearts out
on July 2nd and 3rd as well! (Tickets as low as $23!)
PARADING
Get ready to set your sails at the Newport Beach ‘Old Glory Boat Parade’ (just outside of L.A.)
hosted by The American Legion Yacht Club. From 1pm-330pm Newport will celebrate the
heroes of our country by decking out their boats with festive Fourth of July decor. You can also
enjoy Rock and Jazz music until 5pm accompanied with food, fun, and dancing the night away
(just $30 to participate). The evening will end with a light show that is sure to excite!
To keep the beach trend going head on over to The Pacific Palisades 4th of July Parade. Enjoy
the talents of marching bands, baton twirlers, and color guards for FREE! Grab your spot early
as crowds are sure to flock in for this Independence Day celebration!
WHAT’S GRILLIN?
It’s almost required that you eat BBQ on this nationwide holiday. Hang up your chef hat and
enjoy fresh BBQ at The Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach. Adult admission is $64 and
$28for kids. There won’t be a shortage of red, white, and blue fish! You can even catch the firework
show from the neighboring Queen Mary.
