Beleaf Cafe has opened in the newly renovated Westfield Century City, it is a foodie destination not to be missed!
Beleaf Cafe is a 100% plant based dining option in Westfield’s expansive eatery choices. Here is a look at why we love Beleaf, and highly recommend it to anyone looking for healthy, yet tasty dining options. First of all Beleaf is 100% plan based, but they are also a fast-dining option which is fantastic for anyone on a time crunch. It makes them a great lunch destination, and as of their opening on February 1st their hours are 10am-9pm Mon-Thurs 10am-10am Fri-Sat and finally 11am-7pm on Sundays.
Beleaf Cafe’s menu offers healthy junk food. Our favorite off the bites menu are their Nachos. The Nachos are incredible, and the vegan cheese here is worth the hype. We’ve been scarred by vegan cheese before, so saying we were weary of jumping on a Vegan cheese bandwagon is an understatement. Beleaf Cafe’s vegan cheese does not disappoint. It’s delicious and flavorful which can sometimes be a hard challenge not all brands meet up to. They pass with flying colors. The Nachos Grande come with: chips, black beans, taco mix, cilantro dressing, onions, Israeli salad, salsa, and cheese sauce (the cheese sauce is an additional $1 but absolutely worth it)
We also tried Beleaf’s namesake the Beleaf Burger. We’re going to be honest, an impossible burger with toppings just sounds like any run of the mill vegan burger. Right? Wrong! We almost didn’t order this when we were deciding which menu items would make for the best review for you all to try. But the Beleaf Burger is hands down the best burger! It is so flavorful you won’t be able to put it down. Prepare yourself for an explosion of tasty. The Beleaf Burger comes on a Vegan bun (which you can substitute for a cabbage wrap but … don’t, just trust us), it is also topped with tomato, onion, lettuce, dill pickle, ketchup, mustard, mayo (vegan) and Vegan follow your heart cheese. The pattie is so incredible we dare you not to inhale it, next time we go we’re adding avocado…just try and stop us.
We also gave their Kale burger a try. It was delicious but we’re warning you if you have the Beleaf Burger everything else doesn’t quite live up to the hype of that one. The Kale Burger however, is delicious and it really has a lot of flavor with the bbq onions it comes with. Here is the rundown on the Kale burger’s ingredients: Kale Patty, Thousand Island Dressing (vegan), purple cabbage, grilled onion and avocado.
We also gave Beleaf Cafe’s Buffalo Cauliflower wings a try. They are tasty, but again if you get the Nachos as a snack you’ll be torn as to which you want to have more. The Nachos Grande are worth every bite. Let us know when you go what your favorites are, and which additions you enjoy trying most. Beleaf has opened a great spot for healthy conscious eaters who are in a rush, and for anyone whose trying to avoid the fast food trap. We can’t wait to hear your thoughts when you pop in.
