Actress Dedee Pfeiffer Launches “DOWN WITH DEDEE” Podcast
Dedee Pfeiffer, an award winning actor and producer, known for her latest role on the ABC’s hit show “Big Sky” launches her podcast DOWN WITH DEDEE, a variety style podcast discussing topics including sobriety, social issues, animal welfare and the paranormal/supernatural.
DOWN WITH DEDEE was born from Pfeiffer’s deep desire to help others who are still struggling with any form of addiction and to show others that anything is possible. Through her own recovery journey, Dedee decided to start this podcast which tackles issues including social justice, animal welfare and exploring the paranormal/supernatural. The show aims to chip away at the social stigma that surrounds those in recovery and address wider topics that are of concern to her guests and listeners.
Dedee Pfieffer has a background in social welfare, taking a hiatus from her acting career to earn her Bachelor of Psychology and a Master of Social Work degrees from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Pfeiffer boldly shares her own recovery journey with the public across media interviews and social media, and is an advocate for “recovering out loud.”
In 2022, Pfeiffer partnered with Hazeldon Betty Ford to showcase that the addiction community can come together to help others. While Pfeiffer herself did not get sober through Betty Ford’s programs, she advocates for their work (and others alike) and became their keynote speaker at the center’s 40th Anniversary Gala. In addition, Pfeiffer is active with several animal rescue and environmental organizations.
Guests for the premiere season of DOWN WITH DEDEE include an eclectic range of talent including authors, actors, comedians, talk show hosts, entrepreneurs, Olympians, medical professionals, intuitives/mediums, and more. In preparation for the launch, Pfeiffer curated a custom photoshoot representing her belief in the supernatural and interconnectedness of all beings.
