Today Adidas sent out an encouraging message to all their consumers as they announced their collaboration with The Trevor Project.
Adidas was smart in their messaging, and shows what a progressive and embracing company they are. Not only are the athletes and celebrities they chose for their campaigns carefully selected, so are the words they use to connect with their consumers. Adidas: Over the 50 years since the NYC Stonewall Riots, we’ve made incredible progress, yet there’s still work to be done. We continue to make space for Creators of all types to fully express themselves. Together, we can make it safe for everyone to be who they are. Adidas goes on further by encouraging consumers to be yourself and be a part of their campaign—share your stories and celebrations throughout the month with #loveunites. Be sure to follow along on social media to see who is joinging the conversation and what stories are being shared.
Last but not least Adidas included: “We’re proud to announce that Adidas is donating $250K to The Trevor Project, the world’s largest suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQIA+ young people. We invite you to add your support to this important cause. Further encouraging consumers and members of the Adidas community to participate in Pride coming to Los Angeles June 9th.
