Alicia Keys Tapped to Host the 61st Annual Grammy Awards

Alicia Keys is no stranger to the Grammy Awards as a 15-time Grammy Award winning artist, she might just have a trick or two up her sleeve for us.

This is Alicia Keys first time stepping on the Grammys stage as a Master of Ceremonies, and while she might be stepping into a new role, she certainly doesn’t lack on stage experience. Alicia is thrilled with the opportunity to host and recently gushed, “I know what it feels like to be on that stage, and I’m going to bring that vibe and energy,”. “I’m so excited to be the master of ceremonies on the biggest night in music and celebrate the creativity, power and, magic. I’m especially excited for all the incredible women nominated this year! It’s going “UP” on February 10!”

Catch Alicia’s live reaction here:

You can catch the 61st annual Grammy Awards at the STAPLES Center in Los Angeles, live in HDTV and 5.1 surround sound on the CBS Television Network, Sunday, Feb. 10, 2019, 8p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT. Let us know who you’re rooting for! Remember, every viewing party just needs ballots, popcorn, and champagne. Dress to kill and you can follow along right at home as if you were there. We hope to see Alicia Keys perform as she puts her hosting skills to the test this February.
