Aussie Christmas in Los Angeles Raises Funds for Wildlife at EPLP
It’s that time of year again! Aussie Christmas in Los Angeles returns to EPLP in West Hollywood to raise funds for the Australian Wildlife Conservancy.
ACLA 2022 is founded by Scott Tweedie (Co-Host, American Idol Australia) and Jess Staats (Executive, Capitol Records.) Scott has over 14 years experience as a prime time network host on various shows, both in Australia and America, including E! News. Jess Staats holds extensive experience in the music industry and events in Australia and US. She has worked for Universal Music Australia and Capitol Records US and with clients Done + Dusted, Becky G, Julia Michaels, Billie Eilish, Yungblud, Halsey to name a few.
“Aussie Christmas in LA is an event that we host in the US to celebrate Australian holiday culture with our American friends over a long lunch. We host this event in July, so Americans can really experience that Aussie Summer Heat while being festive,” says Tweedie.
Previous years have hosted over 300 attendees and raised more than $10K for the Australian Wildlife Conservancy and included celebrity guests like Actor Billie Zane, TV Host Hunter March, and more. Watch Scott & Hunter get pumped up for the event here!
Through ACLA’s incredible event partner Grant Smillie (Owner of EP & LP West Hollywood) the event will be hosted by the venue and include a lunch and rooftop party. With a very influential crowd in attendance (typically 50% Aussie / 50% American) the event is also backed by Tourism Australia, Australian Consulate, Penfolds Wine, City National Bank, Qantas and more!
