BABES IN TOYLAND CHARITY TOY DRIVE

With the Christmas Holiday approaching fast, there will be tons of parties and celebrations going on. Kandy Magazine and Platinum Events held their 5th Annual “Babes In Toyland” Charity Toy Drive at Confidential in Beverly Hills this past weekend and we had a great time covering it! This party was filled with beautiful Playboy Playmates and celebs that came out to help celebrate with toys in hand.

The “Babes In Toyland” event was in association with the Victorino Noval Foundation and the LA County Sheriff Department’s Toy Drive. Instead of a normal cover charge, guests were asked to bring a toy to donate to children for Christmas. Santa was on the red carpet to greet everyone upon arrival. He was one lucky man to be surrounded by Playboy Playmates all night!

The red carpet was so much fun with celebrities being photographed with the toys they donated, people hula hooping and everyone taking a picture sitting on Santa’s lap. It really brought out the kid in everyone! We had a chance to speak to former New England Patriots player, Bret Lockett that told us he donated a telescope for the event. When asked what his holiday plans are he said, “Spend some time with the family because I rarely get to do that.” We think it’s very cool that a lucky kid will get to enjoy an awesome gift from Bret Lockett for Christmas!

Other celebrities that walked the carpet were: actress, Rachel Sterling who will be appearing in the upcoming season ofTrue Blood, David Cade (Big Time Rush), Stephen Kramer Glickman (Big Time Rush), Jacob Ben Israel (Glee), Natalie Getz (Bachelor Pad), and many more. Model/Actress, Brigetta Tomarchio was there celebrating her birthday. She told us, “I did the silent auction and all the gift bags for everyone.” Brigetta is the new face of Harley Davidson and host of the LA Talk Radio show.

Victor Noval, founder of The Victorino Noval Foundation also spoke to us saying, “Last year we collected about 2,000 toys and we gave away $40,000.” The foundation is working with actress, Jamie Pressly on more projects to help raise money and toys for children.

The “Babes In Toyland” Charity Toy Drive is a wonderful event that allows less fortunate children to enjoy Christmas every year. We hope that they continue with the tradition for many years to come!
