Did you know that July is National Clean Beauty Month ? In honor of this momentous occasion, Press Pass LA had an alluring day of skin indulgence at the Bamford Wellness Spa located at 1 Hotel West Hollywood.
Bamford sets itself apart by their unique offering of nurturing the mind, body, and soul with an emphasis on holistic approaches. Caroline Bamford has taken her individually crafted treatments infused with her natural and organic specifically formulated products from the English Countryside to the American stateside for the masses to enjoy.
When visiting the Bamford Spa, you are greeted by a courteous staff member with incredibly calming and pleasant demeanor. Water or tea can be sipped while your room is prepared. In regards to services, we opted to begin with the signature Bamford Wellness Facial which included deep facial massage techniques including Gua Sha to ease muscle tension, support lymphatic flow, and reduce puffiness in the face, neck, and dêcolletage.
Our specialist for the day was the lovely Sharona. You MUST book with this Goddess. Not only does she have magic hands, but her spirit and aura will shine through and into your treatment. You can genuinely tell that she loves her work and takes pride in the care of her clients. Sharona walks you through the entire process ensuring that all the treatments are suitable to your wants and needs. Our skin was radiant!
We then moved onto The Soundwave Therapy Room for “The Ultimate” Experience. This service definitely lives up to its name. If we could move into this room and hibernate there, we would. Guests experience binaural acoustic & dynamic stimulation therapy on a waterbed with chroma technology. This bed was nothing short of life changing. Specific vibrations and binaural audio frequencies train the brain on how to achieve deep levels of relaxation while receiving a scalp, neck and shoulder massage. Chromatherapy enhances the ultimate spa experience while indulging the senses. We got lost in this 50 minute experience to the point that we needed an extra 10 after to realize we were back on Earth and no longer in Nirvana!
