Barenaked Ladies, Semisonic and Del Amitri Bring Pure Joy to The Greek

It felt like a 90s reunion at The Greek Theater in Los Angeles for the much-anticipated concert featuring iconic bands Del Amitri, Semisonic, and Barenaked Ladies. The atmosphere was buzzing with nostalgia and anticipation, as these three bands are known for their timeless hits, quirky lyrics, and engaging live performances.

First up was Del Amitri, who set the tone for the evening with their soulful and heartfelt performance. The Scottish rock band’s lead singer, Justin Currie, captivated the audience with his powerful vocals and emotional delivery. Classics like “Roll to Me” and “Always the Last to Know” had the crowd singing along and set the vibe for the evening.

Next up Semisonic took the stage! Their melodic tunes and infectious energy brought back memories of the late 90s and early 2000s. Songs like their iconic “Closing Time” and “Secret Smile” from the band’s frontman Dan Wilson were met with thunderous applause and a crowd sing-along.

By the time Barenaked Ladies entered the stage, the audience was smiling ear to ear. Known for their quirky lyrics and playful stage presence, the Canadian rockers immediately had the crowd dancing and singing along. “One Week,” “Pinch Me,” and “If I Had $1000000” had everyone on their feet. Ed Robertson’s humor took center stage and he joked with audience, brought his son out for a duet, and even sang a few fun covers including a bit of Taylor Swift!

For the final encore, all three bands surprised the audience by coming together on stage for a few bonus songs! We left the theater feeling pure joy and were singing “One Week” for literally the next week in our minds!
