Biggest Marvel News From SDCC 2022

SDCC returned and the big news from some of our favorite franchises is pouring out.

One of the most talked about reveals was Kevin Feige’s revelation of Marvel phase SIX and the planned titles including an 10 episode Dare Devil series rounding out a two-parter Avengers with both movies debuting in the same year ( we won’t have to waste away for years this time if our beloved characters die).

This news came with big title spoilers and timeline revelations. First up, this series was announced in 2021, Spider-Man Freshman Year will follow the beginning of Peter Parker’s journey to becoming Spider-Man in the MCU. Unfortunately, fans will have a long wait for its release, as the panel revealed the series will be released in 2024.

The biggest crowd shocker came as Kevin Feige not only revealed Marvel Studios’ Phase 5 of the MCU, but also Phase 6! Phases 4-6 of the MCU has officially been dubbed the Multiverse Saga. Kevin Feige explained how Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will close out Phase 4 this fall, and Ant-Man: Quantumania will begin Phase 5, which will close out with Thunderbolts in July 2024. Phase 6 will begin with Fantastic 4 in November 2024, this phase will also contain two new Avengers films along with several unannounced films.
