Disney has announced that Black Widow will be coming to theaters and Disney+ simultaneously. To watch Black Widow you will have to pay for premiere access, while it heads to theaters as well.
In its biggest pandemic-related streaming move yet, Disney has opted to make Marvel Studios’ Black Widow a premiere access title. Perhaps after the success of Raya and The Last Dragon, the mouse house has decided to tread new waters with its tentpoles. Cruella is also slated for a double release with it following Raya into premere access and theatrical territory where available. The news of Black Widow hitting both the streamer platform and theaters is huge, as marvel movies have been a cash house for the mouse house for over a decade now. We’re intrigued to see how it performs on a simultaneous release schedule. You’ll be able to access Black Widow for $30, same as their previous release of Mulan, Raya and The Last Dragon, and the upcoming Cruella.
