Celebrities have massive platforms, when used for the common good they are able to reach a vast amount of people in a short time. Today, we’re bringing to your attention celebrities who are uniting with Ministry of Tomorrow to aid children of the Kibera Slum in receiving an education.
Ministry of Tomorrow, and luxury fashion retailer to the stars, Church Boutique, have joined forces to create a specially curated showing of “Art for Education.” On display will be a collection of Ministry of Tomorrow’s new organic canvas tote bags individually designed by a group of their celebrity friends such as: Madonna, Naomi Campbell, Halle Berry, Lenny Kravitz, Zoe Kravitz, Paris Jackson, Lionel Richie, Eddie Murphy, Evan Ross, Usher, Laurie Lynn Stark of Chrome Hearts, Maggie Q, with more names to be announced. To ensure the success of the collaboration Ministry of Tomorrow and Church Boutique have teamed up with Christie’s Auction House and their charity partner, Charitybuzz, to produce the inaugural celebrity art auction to benefit the Chema Vision Children’s Center in Nairobi, Kenya.
After the private showcase the tote bags will be traveling to NYC and will be on display at Christie’s in Rockefeller Center. The online auction will go live on June 1st with last bids being accepted on June 16th, 2021.
