CELEBRITIES SUPPORT HABITAT FOR HUMANITY IN BUILDING A GREATER LOS ANGELES

This past weekend, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles brought together more than 400 volunteers to revitalize a neighborhood in the City of Inglewood during the 2016 Hollywood for Habitat for Humanity Build!
The event featured the “Entertainment Industry Build” on June 3rd  and “Power Women, Power Tools” on June 4th.  The volunteers continued the
ongoing construction of three new homes on Habitat LA’s Hyde Park Place site, and also helped with repairs and beautifying “green” homes in the surrounding neighborhood.

 

 

Over the two days, celebrities, entertainment industry executives, Lowe’s Heroes employee volunteers, government officials and individuals from corporations, faith based organizations, and community groups worked side-by-side with Habitat LA homeowners and homebuyers acting as agents of change in furthering Habitat LA’s mission of Building a Greater Los Angeles.

Celebrity volunteers included Allison Holker (DWTS), Stephen “tWitch” Boss (SYTYCD & Ellen Show), Corbin Bleu & Sasha Clements, Whitney Port, David Arquette, Rachel McCord & Rick Schirmer, Keo Metosepe (DWTS), Victor Ortiz (UFC Fighter), Landry Bender, Terry Jole (Little Women), Tonya Renee Banks (Little Women), and Christy Gibel (Little Women).
