Celebrity Connected Celebrates the Emmys by Connecting Socially Conscious Brands with Celebrity Talent

The beautiful Millennium Biltmore Hotel located in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles played host to this years Celebrity Connected Luxury Gifting Suite in honor of the Emmy Awards.

The Crystal Room was all abuzz with vendors, media, social influencers, and entertainers in town for this year’s Emmy awards weekend.  Celebrity Connected is always a must on every A-Lister’s agenda because they showcase some of the most innovative products on the market and focus on products and companies that give back to charities as a part of their mission. This year was no different. Anything and everything you could need or want was in the ballroom!

Kool Breeze Solar Hat is one of those things that I am kicking myself for not thinking of.  It’s a tightly woven Mexican palm leaf hat that keeps you cool when its hot.   There is a solar cell mounted on top of the hat that produces electricity.  A lightweight motor and fan sit atop the crown and spin when energized by sunlight.  It is patented and fashionable.  Who doesn’t want to keep their scalp cool, especially at the beach?!

Kingdom of Mel has already gained popularity on social media with their introduction of Kente print Kimono robes, running shoes, King and Queen designs, and Pan-African Flag Color Duffel bags.  Afrocentric is their main focus, but other designs (glamuousity) are also available in magnificent items.  Custom clothing can be made for special occasions.

The ladies at “Bee Waxed Cosmetics” had the entire room a buzz (no pun intended).  Sandy and Julie combined their over 32 years of experience in the skin care world to bring an all natural, organic line that improves elasticity and repair damage. The women were walking testaments of their products with absolutely flawless skin!

The most delicious aroma filled the room and led many of us to the Lighthouse Roasters table.  They are a small craft roaster located in the heart of Seattle.  The beans are sourced from sustainable and ethically-sourced coffee farms from around the globe.  They have been in the business for over 25 years.  I can honestly say this was one of the best coffee experiences I have ever had.  Everyone in the room was beyond pleased with the smooth texture nd roast of the beans.

House of Harris is a boutique fabric and wallpaper company co-founded by sister designers Charlotte  Harris Lucas and Liz Harris Carroll.   The colors and fabrics are inspired by the streets on the cities these lovely ladies grew up on.  I fell in love before even knowing that these women were from North Carolina, just as I am !   There is a play on both modern and vintage design in their fabrics.   Beautiful would be an understatement in the description.
