Drama is sure to be the next indie band gracing everyones playlist. Teragram ballroom has hosted loads of up and coming talent who have blown us away and Drama is no exception. The packed house was bopping along to their eclectic sounds. Seeing artists join music genres, and join them well is always a treat. We enjoyed the evening full of  jazz and playful patterns of hip-hop mixed with bossa nova. The musical duo’s full-length debut album Dance Without Me dropped February 14th via Ghostly International. Drama’s sound plays to the complementary dynamics of their unlikely pairing by blurring the lines between R&B and dance-pop, heartbreak and bliss. Which is something we can attest to after their live in show in Los Angeles. If you haven’t had a chance to check them out, you should be rushing to add them to your playlist cycle now. Their album Dance Without Me is a refined collection that recasts romantic tragedy as moonlit self-acceptance.

We didn’t have a chance to pick their minds this time they were in town, you better believe they’re on the horizon for a q+a next time they’re in LA. Let us know what your questions and comments are for their new album. You never know they might just end up in their q+a. We’ll leave you with one of their singles for now.
