PressPass LA had the opportunity to interview the cast and the creators of The Comeback during their recent appereance at the Paley Center in Beverly Hills.

Returning for the second season after its nine-year hiatus, stars chatted about their experience in the show and the possibility of a third season! Lisa Kudrow, creator, executive producer and star of the show explained how much she enjoys working with Michael Patrick King (producer of Two Broke Girls and former producer of Sex and the City) and the rest of the cast and crew.

“We got a barn, lets put on a show and make HBO pay for it,” explained Kudrow jokingly when asked whats its like to come back to a show after such a long break. She explained it wasn’t difficult to reconnect with her character Valerie. “Not as hard, I think I made it hard on myself on moments and thought. I don’t know if I’m doing this well. Oh, I am. Okay,” she joked.

The cast is like a big family, Robert Michael Morris who plays Mickey Deane says the energy on set was amazing there was a lot of different locations for filming and everyone just did there job and did it well. “I felt like I went to a playground with my friends for the summer. Its build with fun and smarts,” said King.

If there is a season 3, as the rumors say, everyone is on board and excited for its return. Kudrow and  King explained that since it is such a cult following it’s important to bring new content and content thats going to please the audience.
