Looking to become an Art Collector? Well, Corey Helford’s gallery in Downtown Los Angeles is putting on a new show you won’t want to miss.
This Saturday (1/8), downtown Los Angeles’ Corey Helford Gallery (CHG) will proudly ring in the new year with their eighth annual Art Collector Starter Kit group show(ACSK VIII), featuring new 12” x 12” works from over 50 established and emerging artists from across the globe, displayed throughout the Main Gallery. Smaller, and more affordable new works by the artists that everyone loves was the inciting idea behind the popular annual show when it launched in 2013. The show is back for its eighth installment and is bigger than ever, featuring the top artists in the New Contemporary art scene.
Art Collector Starter Kit VIII opens Saturday (1/8) from 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm in the Main Gallery, alongside a solo show from Josie Morway, entitled Wealth and Hellness, in Gallery 2 and a solo show from Jasmine Becket-Griffith, entitled New Works, in Gallery 3.
CHG will be requiring proof of COVID-19 vaccination as a condition of entry into the gallery, plus guest temperatures will be checked and masks will be required. 200 people at a time will be allowed into the gallery’s 12,000 square foot space, which will be monitored by CHG’s staff. After the opening, CHG returns to their regular visiting hours (Thursday through Saturday from 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm).
