Crate & Barrel Team Up With Capitol Records

What happens when a legendary music company teams up with a mega design store? Inspired furniture. Capitol Records is celebrating their 75th year in business this year. They are a juggernaut in the music industry giving us The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Frank Sinatra, The Rolling Stones, Katy Perry, and Sam Smith to name a few.

Whatever your choice in music you can’t deny that Capitol has created classic sound that never goes out of style in all their years in business. Thats why this year Capitol Records timeless music has collaborated with Crate and Barrel’s timeless home furnishings. Crate and Barrel was founded in 1962 which makes it the perfect partner to Capitol’s 75th anniversary as Crate and Barrel also knows staying power. They would like to present you with: The Listening Room.  In honor of this collaboration Crate and Barrel threw a mini shindig at Capitol Records famous Studio A. Guests were treated to speciality cocktails while listening to a live performance by Kandace Springs who was Prince’s last artist he found and brought to Blue Note Records at Capitol. She played a four song set, on Nat King Cole’s piano. Talk about music royalty.
