DPA Lounge Provides Academy Nominees a Place to Unwind Prior to the Big Night

Oscars weekend is a both a fun-filled and stressed filled weekend for Hollywood’s biggest stars. It represents the culmination of awards season but also of the last few years of work on their latest project. Excitement and tensions run high which is why the awards lounges that take place Friday and Saturday are a great outlet for talent to mingle, unwind and pamper for the big night!

DPA Lounge has been a staple of awards season for years. Owner Nathalie Dubois curates a lounge full of experiences and innovative brands and hosts presenters and nominees at the Luxe Sunset Boulevard Hotel for two days.

This year’s lounge featured an array of experiences including sessions with celebrity facialist, Saori Yoshimura, who was flown in for Japan to treat guest with 15 minute Kogao facials which firm and tighten facial beauty. Saori also makes house calls to several stars on Oscars morning!

It also included sessions with tarot reader Lisa Greenfield of Truth in Hand who is known for having read over 50,000 hands and providing intuitive life and business coaching.

Nominees and presenters were also gifted with post-awards vacations to relax at luxury resorts including Le Tahaa by Pearl Resorts in French Polynesia, Pimalai Resort & Spa in Thailand, and The Greenhouse in Iceland.

Skincare and personal grooming are always on top of everyone’s mind during awards season and DPA provided care options from Skin Medica, Ere Perez, Dion Michaels, Ele Kaui and more. Escentuelle by Carolyn Dunne provided a custom scent bar to create your own cologne or perfume for the big day.

Fashion is at the forefront during Oscars week and brands on site provided Petrusse Paris scarfs from Bordeaux, France; Fallen Stars quartz jewelry mined in upstate New York, De Marquet sustainable leather handbags with interchangeable covers to take you from day to night from Tuscany, Italy; Coolook jewelry from Madrid and more.
