Elisabeth Moss is a powerhouse on screen, and now in season four of The Handmaids Tale, she’s giving us a look into her creative eye behind the lens as well.
Elisabeth Moss has gained critical acclaim in her role as June in The Handmaid’s Tale. Now, her point of view for her cinematic choices as an actor are high in demand. Ahead of her current film The Invisible Man, Writer/Director Leigh Whannell asked her to make corrections to the script to ensure a female point of view. Taking corrective writing measures is but a small step, as Elisabeth now focuses her creative talent on Directing. Dare we say “praise be” as her directorial work for season four just kicked off, verified by her own instagram.
Of the opportunity Elisabeth says, “I am thrilled to be given this opportunity by my partners Bruce (Miller) and Warren (Littlefield) and to have the support of all of our producers and Hulu/MGM. It means so much to me and I do not take the responsibility lightly. Leading and executive producing this show the past three years has been such a joy and I’ve had the incredible gift of learning so much from the directors we’ve had on this show. ” While all details are tight lipped on season four of The Handmaid’s Tale, one thing is for certain, we’ll be on the edge of our seats again. Who else is ready for season four of Handmaid’s Tale to return?
