The boys are back in town! It’s official; Vinnie Chase and his “Entourage” are headed to the big screen! Warner Brothers has officially given the go ahead for the hit Mark Wahlberg produced HBO show to become a movie.

A movie spinoff has been rumored for the series since it ended in September 2011. The film version will be directed by show creator and writer Doug Ellin. Deals are said to be in the making for the original series stars; Adrian Grenier (Vincent “Vinnie” Chase), Kevin Connolly (Eric “E” Murphy), Kevin Dillion (Johnny Drama), Jerry Ferrara (Turtle) and Jeremy Piven (Ari Gold).

We can only hope show favorites Rex Lee (Lloyd), Emmanuelle Chriqui (Sloan), Rhys Cairo (Billy Walsh) and Scott Caan (Scott) will be reprising their roles in the flick. The HBO series ran for 8 seasons from 2004-2011, ending with Ari quitting his agency job to commit fully to his marriage, before being offered his dream job as the chairman of Time Warner.

According to Ellin, the film will pick up six months after the finale and will mainly focus on Ari’s next career moves. No word yet on a start date for the film, but we can’t wait to see what’s in store for the “Entourage” boys!

What do you hope happens? What celebrity cameos would you love to see?
