AN EVENING WITH E! FASHION POLICE’S GEORGE KOTSIOPOULOS PRESENTED BY BAKER

For West Week 2013, Baker Furniture hosted an event at their beautiful showroom at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood with featured guest, celebrity stylist, George Kotsiopoulos ofE!’s Fashion Police.

Guests enjoyed champagne and hors d’oeuvres as they walked around the huge space admiring the furniture. One of our favorite pieces was an all crystal chandelier by Baccarat. The Architectural Digest Greenroom of the Academy Awards was re-created and displayed at the event. Created by designer, Madeline Stuart, the Oscar’s Greenroom was decorated in Art-Deco furniture in the backstage lounge and served as the exclusive spot for celebrity interviews and where the stars relaxed before presenting and after receiving awards. At the West Week event, George Kotsiopoulos was the special guest!

We had a chance to chat with George about what he’s been up to post Oscars and what brought him out to the event. George said, “I always find it sad if you’re like dressed to the nines and then you walk into your dumpy house because you spend all of your money on clothes. I think being fashionable is a lifestyle choice and it stretches out to all aspects of your life. So it’s your home, it’s your car, and everything about you.” The stylist does practice what he preaches because he did tell us that he owns some nice chairs from Baker.

George is a very busy man! In addition to styling some of Hollywood’s biggest stars, he co-hosts Fashion Police on the E! Network, with Joan Rivers, Kelly Osbourne and Giuliana Rancic. His book, Glamorous by George, will be released next year in January and he recently re-styled the cast of soap operas All My Children and One Life to Live. We were also very pleased to hear that George is the very first Style Ambassador for Midori Liquor. We will see the ad campaign that he styled for that in May.

I couldn’t leave without asking the number one fashion question, “Who are you wearing?” George looked amazing in head to toe Black Fleece by Brooks Brothers. He was also sporting no facial hair which made him look even more handsome and very youthful. We enjoyed catching up with him and checking out all of the gorgeous furniture at Baker.
