FAITH HILL & TIM MCGRAW, SOUL 2 SOUL

PPLA attended The Venetian’s ‘biggest musical event in its history’ this past week in Las Vegas. It was a live ‘town call’ press conference in which it was announced that Tim McGraw and Faith Hill would be calling the Venetian Theater (formerly Phantom Theatre) home for their show Soul 2 Soul. The stars were on hand to discuss their performance plans and take questions from fans and reporters alike.

Soul 2 Soul will be a limited engagement, opening Dec. 7th and covering ten weekends through April 2013. This will be the first time in six years that the two country stars have performed together in the Unites States and they could not be more excited about their new venue, the intimate 1,815 seat Venetian Theater. The show will feature an all-new production with innovative lighting and set design technologies that are synonymous with the Soul 2 Soul concerts and will include many hits made by both performers as well as plenty of shared stage time.

The press conference included Jim Caparella, president and chief operating officer of The Venetian, The Palazzo & Sands Expo, who told reporters, “Tim McGraw and Faith Hill are country music’s first couple and we are proud to have such extraordinary talent. When they hit our stage in December it will surely be the hottest ticket in town…It’s not every day that Las Vegas welcomes such stellar star power to the Strip.”

Members of The Venetian’s loyalty program, Grazie, as well as Tim McGraw and Faith Hill’s official fan communities and Clear Channel subscribers will be able to purchase advance tickets through the pre-sale starting Wednesday, August 8th at 10AM. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Monday, August 13th at 10AM. For a full schedule of performance dates and prices, visit The Venetian.
