After a long year of no art shows, it is finally possible to view art in person again and we highly recommend that you visit Maddox Gallery in West Hollywood.
Until May 31st, the gallery is presenting Flow State, a solo exhibition of works by urban contemporary artist, Mikael B.
Mikael B is originally from Denmark but is living in Los Angeles where he creates all his art in his art studio in downtown LA. We have loved Mikael’s work for years and we love to see how he has grown as an artist. His solo show follows three years of preparation, experimentation and the pursuit of his full potential.
As a self-described outsider, Mikael B is constantly breaking through barriers, operating between genres and carving his own path. As a result, Flow State is so much more than a typical white walls experience. Rather than accept the classic gallery format, Mikael has taken over everything from the gallery space to the walls themselves. From the moment you step in, you are entering Mikael’s futuristic abstract vision; a space coated in vinyl with a 3D effect that welcomes visitors to an immersive experience.
The show is from 1 – 31 May 2021 at Maddox Gallery, 8811 Beverly Blvd, West Hollywood, CA 90048, Los Angeles
