It’s not just about the music anymore. Its actually becoming more and more about the fashion! Press Pass LA sought out to find the best of the best fashion at this years Coachella’s parties and pop ups.
Las Vegas Presented #WHHSH (What Happens Here, Stays Here) at the Ingleside Inn in the heart of the Palm Springs desert. Some of the sponsors included, Diadora who featured their neon, bright tennis shoes enjoyed by many celebrity guests including Joe Jonas, Kate Nash, Amber Rose, and more. Guests lounged poolside listening to DJ sets from G-Easy, Joe Jonas’ band DNCE, Balthazar Getty, and DJ Equal. Lately, the Italian sneaker company has been getting a lot of buzz especially on their shoe designed especially for Coachella, the B. Elite W. Florida. This shoe has a full-grain leather surface and is covered palm trees and suede accents. This by far was our favorite shoe at the festivals’ fashion events.
Coast by Coast’s 1972 Volkswagen bus-tique stopped by the Ace Hotel this Coachella weekend 1 offering festival goers the latest in fashions inspired by swim, surf, and travel. Coast by Coast’s roster of brands include Mara Hoffman, Earth tu Face, Minna, among others. Our favorite swimwear hands down was Mara Hoffman. With Mara Hoffman swimwear, what first catches your attention are the prints: those, complex, angular wonders that seem to have sprung from a galactic dream. Next are the silhouettes, that are ultra flattering and wearable. Mara Hoffman topped our list for best swimwear!
On to eyewear… Pared definitely caught our eye! This brand is simply amazing. Our favorite shades were the “Puss and Boots”. What made this frame so spectacular was the fit and of course the gold deco corner design. The “Puss and Boots” design also comes in white frames and with a leopard print accent. These frames are amazing because they are angled in the corners and are perfect for every face shape. So flattering. So stunning. I am so happy to have cross paths with Pared!
No Coachella outfit is complete without a little help from XIXI Palms. We fell in love with this Hawaiian designer because her look is “effortless chic”, which is what the Coachella look is all about. The mission of XIXI Palms is to transform the familiar to unique by integrating a urban and resort look in one. Our favorite look from XIXI Palms was the soft, flowy black sundress with the angular bottom hem.
That’s a wrap! Be sure to follow us on the road as we explore more fashion and music at Coachella Weekend two coming up this weekend.
