Hanson Brings The Holiday Spirit To The Wiltern

If you didn’t know, Hanson can do a whole lot more than MMMBop, including making it snow in Los Angeles!

Hanson brought their Oklahoma charm to the Wiltern Wednesday, but they weren’t playing their normal pop classics. Instead, the brothers played a full set of holiday songs from their two Christmas records.

Celebrating their new album, Finally It’s Christmas, Hanson played through a set of over 20 songs. It was hard to tell the originals from the covers, which is a good thing when it comes to holiday classics.

The crowd was dressed in Christmas sweaters and lights, and towards the end of the set it actually snowed inside the Wiltern!

One of the most memorable moments of the night was the Hanson’s a capella renditions of White Christmas and Joy to the Mountain – the whole audience fell silent and even from the back, you could hear the band’s perfect harmonies.
