The House of The Dragon season two is currently filming and we may or may not be foaming after how good season one was.
Season one of House of the Dragon was fantastic, however at times it really did feel rushed with storylines just progressing at such a rapid pace we felt whiplashed. We hope the creators have heard that feedback and will give us more of the political backstabbing and reveals we loved in the original series, but we still want our insane battles. Dragon fight? Yes, yes more please. In VERY exciting news you can expect to meet 17 new dragons in season two.
“All your favorite characters will soon be conspiring at the council tables, marching with their armies and riding their dragons into battle,” says showrunner Ryan Condal.
The HBO fantasy hit has restarted production at Leavesden Studios in the United Kingdom.
“House of The Dragon has returned,” said showrunner Ryan Condal in a statement. “We are thrilled to be shooting again with members of our original family as well as new talents on both sides of the camera. All your favorite characters will soon be conspiring at the council tables, marching with their armies and riding their dragons into battle. We can’t wait to share what we have in store.”
The season two cast includes Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke, Emma D’Arcy, Eve Best, Steve Toussaint, Fabien Frankel, Ewan Mitchell, Tom Glynn-Carney, Sonoya Mizuno and Rhys Ifans. Additional returning cast includes Harry Collett, Bethany Antonia, Phoebe Campbell, Phia Saban, Jefferson Hall and Matthew Needham.
As of now we have no update for the series premiere.
