The Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films has announced that for the 3rd straight year, Joel McHale will return to host the 52nd Annual Saturn Awards Ceremony taking place on Sunday, February 2, 2025 at The Hilton Universal City Hotel.
This year’s show is dedicated to the memory of Saturn Awards’ dear friend, acclaimed producer Jon Landau (“Avatar,” “Titanic”).
The nominees for both film and television, were announced last week and include: “Dune: Part Two,” “Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice,” “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga,” “Wonka,” “Deadpool & Wolverine,” “Alien: Romulus,” “Kingdom Of the Planet of The Apes,” and “Inside Out 2” for film, and for TV “Fallout,” “The Boys,” “Agatha All Along,” “Ashoka,” “The Penguin,” “House of the Dragon,” “Cobra Kai,” and“The Fall of The House of Usher,” among many many other acclaimed series.
The Saturn Awards are the only awards show that have been honoring the best in genre entertainment since 1972.
The Saturns will be live-streamed for free on both Electric Entertainment’s premium OTT app and FAST channel, ElectricNOW and The Roku Channel.
