KARI FEINSTEIN STYLE LOUNGE: 2015 PRIMETIME EMMY’S

The day before the big show, Press Pass LA had the opportunity to attend the Kari Feinstein Style Lounge to preview all the goodies this year’s nominees would be taking home!
The lounge featured brands including Kiss Products, Inc., Skinn Cosmetics, Olivia + Joy, Soul Journey Designs, Modere, Mary Kral Designs, Bible LA Clothing, Alinea Jewelry, Indiegogo Apparel and more!

When we entered the lounge we grabbed a quick, healthy snack from Skinny Pop Popcorn (gluten free, non-GMO, and only 100 calories!); we snagged the white cheddar flavor (just like Matt LeBlanc) and then made our way through the lounge.

We first stopped by Indigo Apparel by Jackii Ramis to check out her one of kind runway and every day looks. This ready-to-wear sustainable line includes hand dyed, one of a kind pieces, hand- printed graphics, detailed crochet work, and the use of organic and recycled materials. We were lucky enough to take home a beautiful scarf perfect for fall in Los Angeles!

Speaking of Los Angeles, Hollywood can be a tough town! Everyone comes here to chase a dream and the competition is tough. Sometimes to get you through, you just need a little faith and that’s exactly what Bible LA  believes. This Christian-based clothing line spreads good news and the biblical message and aims to be the ‘most rad empowerment clothing.’ They were gifting hats, t-shirts and more!

Another fashion line with a message was Soul Journey Designs! This line of energizing jewelry features beads and stones from Nepal, India, and Thailand and carry with them a certain energy.  I was attracted to the Jade bracelet historically used to attract love and money by creating a positive attitude and guarding against misfortune. Yes, please!

If you are looking for the perfect gift, look no further than Honestly Goods by Mary Kral Designs. The line includes apparel, porcelain dishes, and other accessories featuring humorous and inspiration sayings. Our favorites? “Little girls with dreams become women with vision” tied with “I’m outdoorsy, I like getting drunk on patios.” Because both of these are so true!

Our favorite fashion items were purses by Olivia + Joy and shoes by Chinese Laundry! Olivia + Joy was showcasing the Zap Zoom nylon tote perfect for busy women on the go, as well as the black & tan Lexy Tote made with vegan leather that transitions seamlessly from day to night. Chinese Laundry was featuring the BOHO platform shoes in black and beige suede, a great addition to your fall wardrobe!

When walking down the red carpet at tomorrow’s Primetime Emmys, beauty will be on everyone’s mind! Kiss Products, Inc., Skinn Cosmetics, and Modere had you covered!
