LA FASHION WEEK CONCLUDES AT SUNSET GOWER

To end LA Fashion Week, event producer Mikey Koffman of The Gallery Los Angeles, presented Los Angeles Fashion Weekend at Sunset Gower Studios in Hollywood. We had the pleasure to attend the Saturday show and it was definitely a great production. KTLA5 was on hand to broadcast the exciting event.

The show opened with a short film about all of the designers that were presenting for the entire weekend. Then there was an awesome musical performance by Hi-Fashion. What appeared to be models walking down the runway in brightly colored dresses, turned out to be dancers that broke out into an energetic dance routine. That definitely got the audience off their feet and for a split second, it turned into a party. They were wearing masks and when they ripped them off, the fact that some of them were men made it even more amazing!

After the performance, everyone was pumped to see what was in store. The featured designers on the runway were: AshleeBrooks, Sarahi House of Fashion, Laha The Glamorous Girl, and Skineez Skincarewear. All of the looks were great but the one that stood out was definitely Laha The Glamorous Girl. The designer sent the most fashionable little girls down the runway. The girls seemed to be enjoying the attention because they were all smiles and strutting like pros. The clothes were very fashion forward and age appropriate with sequins, fur, polka dots and zebra print. It was a huge crowd pleaser.

Skineez Skincarewear was unique because it wasn’t the usual garment that is sent down the runway. The models wore fitted undergarments that contained special ingredients to smooth and soften skin and even help to lose inches. The brand has been featured in several magazines and is popular with celebrities such as: singer/actress, Vanessa Williams; recording artist, Pink and actress, Rosanna Arquette.

Overall, the show was full of energy and lots of surprises. It was definitely worth going out in the cold, rainy weather!
