LIGHTS CAMERA CURE CHARITY EVENT

Press Pass LA attended “Lights. Camera. Cure. – The 2013 Hollywood Dance-a-THON,” an exciting benefit for The Four Diamonds Fund in their fight against pediatric cancer. The event was held at the Avalon in Hollywood on January 27th and included a red carpet, auction, live entertainment, and of course, a dance marathon!

This was the benefit’s second year and it was co-hosted by Devon Werkheiser and Gia Mantegna with performances and non-stop music by Drake Bell, VanJess, Kait Weston, Bex, The Cannoneers, Reign Morton, DJ Michel Basic, DJ Splyce, and DJ DG.

Dancers were on their feet throughout the 6-hour event, raising donations from pledges for their efforts. The benefit was sponsored by The Penn State Alumni Association Los Angeles Chapter in support of THON, the 46-hour dance marathon held by the students at the University each February for the past 40 years!
