Lil Wayne and Steve Aoki Host World’s Largest Pizza Festival Benefitting Model Citizen

The World’s Largest Pizza Festival was the most coveted ticket in LA and perfect way to cap off summer.

In its 6th year, the festival returned in a blow out bash on Sunday, August 29. The festival proceeds go to benefit Model Citizen. The charity was founded by the birthday boy and host of the event, Dan Fleyshmen, 10 years ago. It’s mission is to  distribute life-sustaining backpacks filled with 150 items that include food, health, and survival essentials to the homeless community and disaster victims, giving them the tools and confidence to rebuild their lives in a positive way.

The festival, which took place at a super secret location in Beverly Hills, featured carnival-style, a giant slip-n-slide, bounce house, and delicious food and libations. There were vendors such as plant based local favorite Sugar Taco, Everbowl, and what everyone came for…hot made to order pizza by Fresh Brothers and Slice.

DJ Irie got the party started and kept the vibes hype all throughout the evening. Guests were treated to a heart pounding, pumping set by the legendary Steve Aoki before the G.O.A.T. himself, Lil Wayne Mr Weezy F Baby, took the stage to perform hit after hit.

The World’s Largest Pizza Festival is a fully outdoor event in compliance with all local and state guidelines for mass gatherings.

Guests who are sick, have a fever, or have been exposed to COVID-19 were politely asked to stay home. Signage and staff stayed present throughout the venue to encourage guests to wear masks and a first aid station was provided. The night was full of good vibes for a great cause!
