Just off the excitement of 11 Tony wins for “Hamilton,” Lin-Manuel Miranda announced that July 9th will be his last performance of the Broadway show. He also announced a chance to win tickets to this show and be his guest at an after-party via a $10 Donation to benefit Hispanic Federation. Find out the details!
While ticket prices for Miranda’d final performance will surely be through the roof, Prizeo is hosting a sweepstakes that will give one lucky winner the chance to be hooked up with two of the best seats in the house and be a VIP guest of Lin’s at an after party for his LAST SHOW for just a $10 donation to charity.
All donations made benefit the Hispanic Federation, a non-profit organization that uplifts millions of Hispanic children, youth and families locally and nationally through three essential service pillars: membership services/grant making, advocacy and community programs. Participants will receive 100 entries to win the trip. In addition to tickets, airfare and lodging will also be provided.
As for Hamilton, Javier Muñoz, Manuel’s alternate who already plays the role twice a week will take over starting July 11. Miranda hints that he may revisit the role in the future but for now he is preparing for Mary Poppins Returns, in theaters Christmas 2018, in which he stars opposite Emily Blunt. The film is being directed by Rob Marshall and Miranda plays Jack the lamplighter, a new character. He’s also putting the finishing touches on the music for Disney’s animated film Moana, for which he composed the music, in theaters November 23.
