June is National Pride Month and Macy’s is a proud partner in raising awareness and giving back to The Trevor Project with a “round up and change” initiative from now until June 17th nationwide, and through the end of the month in select cities.
In support of its colleagues, the prominent Los Angeles Macy’s location in the Beverly Center held an in-store event celebrating the trans community hosted by celebrity personality, activist and blogger Billie Lee (Vanderpump Rules) and dynamic celebrity stylist, Daniel Musto.
Guests were seated alongside a catwalk and treated to a fashion show of today’s hottest trends from INC. International Concepts, modeled by transgender models who are transcending the stigma in an ever-changing world.
Hamburger Mary’s provided bites and libations while a DJ played tunes and trans makeup artists, consultants and stylists were on hand to provide services to guests, free of charge.
