President Obama’s oldest daughter, Malia Obama, has landed the opportunity of a lifetime—interning on the set of the hit HBO series Girls. After working on the set of Halle Berry’s CBS show Extant the previous summer, this will be Malia’s second television production internship to date.
Malia, 17, is working under the direction of the show’s star Lena Dunham. Accordingly, the president’s daughter had recently been seen in the Brooklyn-area delivering coffee to the set and helping to block the public from disturbing the shows shoot.
Malia is set to graduate from Sidwell Friends—a private school in Washington, D.C.—next year. She has visited schools in New York and California, including Stanford and her father’s alma mater Columbia University.
