MORE ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT COMING

The cult television series Arrested Development will finally be getting another new season on Netflix after a nearly two year hiatus.

First reported in the “B.S. Report” podcast at SXSW, executive producer Brian Grazer announced that the on-again/off-again series would get 17 more episodes.

AD 2The show first aired on FOX for three season in 2003 and then cancelled. It found new life on VOD and DVD and quickly gained a devoted cult following. After nearly a decade on hold Netflix revived the series in 2013.

Despite the revival the series struggled to find its footing due to the scheduling of its core cast, all of whom had other work. Up until Grazer’s announcement no news has really been reported.
