Gerard Butler tackles Machine Gun Preacher with such conviction it is a must see. A story of one man’s journey against the law and his redemption in aiding those in Africa amidst Kony’s civil war.

Naomi Watts is unspeakably talented in The Impossible. This harrowing true story follows the fight of one injured mother, struggling to save her children post the tsunami which rocked Southeast Asia.

If you’re looking for a feel good true story that brings family together put The Blind Side on your list. Sandra Bullock is perfect casting for this film which reminds us we all need more love in our lives.

Finally, a film which affirms that anything is possible if you put your mind to it is Disney’s Queen of Katwe. Lupita Nyong’o and David Oyelowo are wonderful beside the films true star Madina Nalwanga.

Another film we can’t get enough of is Morgan Freeman in Invictus. Nothing like uniting a country through sports.
