Music Crush Monday: Adam Sandler

Yep, you guessed it. With Hanukkah ending this past week on December 15th, there is no other song we can think that would be a best fit for our weekly Music Crush Monday series. Lets celebrate the festival of lights together.

Back in 2008 Adam Sandler noticed that Hanukkah wasn’t getting enough love in the heavy Christmas focused music that ushers in the month of December. Both funny and timeless Adam Sandler’s Hanukkah song which premiered as a skit on SNL is a longstanding holiday favorite. Adam Sandler’s song is so great, Saturday Night Live re-aired this classic as part of their 2022 Christmas special episode, just one short year ago. The tune is all about Hanukkah (also spelled Chanukah) and the celebrities who celebrate the holiday, like the comedian himself–including David Lee Roth, Goldie Hawn, and Kirk Douglas, to name a few.
