Music Crush Monday: Alicia Keys

Alicia Keys returned to host The Grammy awards for her second consecutive year in a row.

Alicia displayed the air of a true and accomplished host and artist as she took the stage just hours after reports came in that NBA giant Kobe Bryant had perished in a helicopter crash. With the utmost class and respect Alicia played tribute to Kobe with Boyz2Men on the Grammy Stage in “The House That Kobe Built” as she dubbed it.

The medley was quickly put together to honor the fallen great, the evening would go on to honor another great of Los Angeles Nipsey Hussle who was lost in a tragic murder earlier in 2019. The somber evening proved to be one of the best nights of performances and camaraderie showcased by the music industry. Enjoy the medley, and let us know what you thought of the musical tributes. Brava to Alicia Keys on another amazingly well hosted Grammy awards while also keeping in tune with the tone of the night.
