Halsey has teamed up with Suga from BTS for her latest single “Lillith.”
It should be no surprise to see Halsey team up with Suga as the two have often gushed admiration for one another’s talent. The new single “Lillith,” sees a dark mythology unfold as the lyrics transport us with each of the artist’s talent taking center stage. In a new twist for video games, the dark and moody video — directed by Henry Hobson was released in collaboration with Blizzard Entertainment’s Diablo IV. This music video coinciding with Diablo IV sees a continuing of video games as the biggest silent killer for monetary gains in entertainment.
“I’m thrilled that I got to collab with SUGA of BTS on a reimagined version of ‘Lilith’ for the Diablo IV anthem!” Halsey said in a statement. “Having spent countless hours in Sanctuary with my family, I’m here as both a fan and a collaborator. Plus, I’ve always wanted to do a concept with SUGA with this type of dark mythology. Hopefully, fans of Diablo, SUGA, and myself will love Lilith’s embrace.”
Suga’s much-anticipated appearance comes soon after the halfway mark, when he arrives through a red haze and takes over vocals in his contribution to the song.
