Music Crush Monday: Jung Kook

Our favorite Kookie is back with new music! BTS lovers may be loving this solo era as more and more of the member’s personalities have come to the forefront. Now, Jung Kook brings us ‘3D’ featuring Jack Harlow as his latest single.

The music video ‘3D’ is Directed by Drew Kirsch with Jack Harlow featuring on this catchy dance bop. Much like his previous release,”Seven,” “3D” delivers a dance/club fever with its repetition and groove. The song’s lyrics and rhythm play into Jung Kook’s strength as a singer which allow for his lithe vocals to shine. In a nutshell the song is a fun, fast pop song reminiscent of early 2000s pop/r&b hits. As the single’s keep rolling out it’s becoming more and more obvious that Jung Kook is taking a page out of the Disney Kid glow up playbook to deliver a more edgy and adult version of himself, as he ages. Being a celebrity is hard when you begin soo young, it can be difficult to separate from your early image. Jung Kook has been taking things into his own hands and hasn’t shied away from changing his fan base’s perception. He’s grown, and it’s about time we all took notice.
